Job Role - Web Content Editor

Location - Bangalore
Shift Time - 6.30 pm to 3.30 am
Job Description
The Web Content Editor role involves:
Work with client and internal teams to plan, update and publish content and messages across multiple websites (9 websites)
Perform on-page search engine optimization (SEO) activities. Advise on technical SEO needs. Establish procedures to tag the content against the client product taxonomy
Create, edit, and revise web content, select brand appropriate photos, video, and graphics, in collaboration with SMEs, and use new content formats to fill gaps and align content with organizational priorities
Incorporate user experience principles and customer-first mindset into web content, navigation, and design
Guard the brand and quality of the client
Identify and report on key metrics required to evaluate content performance
The Successful Applicant
In order to be considered for the web content editor role, you must have:
Digital Merchandising / Web content creation experience in the Retail space (1+ years)
Experience with working on AEM pages, AEM assets
Advanced knowledge and skills in production of web content for large websites
Must have excellent writing and editing skills
Good eye for detail
The role requires you to have good interpersonal skills to work effectively with contributors, designers and webmasters
Good organizational skills to collate material from multiple sources and produce web content within tight deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
