Strategy and Planning
s Drive second line support initiative to reduce support calls across the organization
s Prepare and deliver annual performance appraisals and compensation recommendations of members
s Participate in evaluation of the infrastructure support management process.
s Produce regular reports, for example to demonstrate the efficient deployment of the firm's software assets and licences.
Acquisition and Deployment
s Provides project management to support broad scope IT implementations and projects. These projects could include migration to cloud services, new servers, or rolling out new technologies.
s Report on application licence usage.
s Supervises the deliverables and prioritizes the work of the Global IT staff to include the creation and close-out of IT services for new or closing country offices. IT services to include procurement of networking hardware, servers, UPSs, internet connectivity, and so on. May include travel to field office locations as needed.
Operational Management
s Supervises direct reports on IT Infrastructure Team Mumbai with responsibility for hiring, firing, discipline, performance evaluations, assignments, work flow, deliverables, and staffingthe firm's HR and IT access policies.
s Supervision and management of a technical Team and supervisors to effectively and efficiently achieve the desired results, includes setting objectives for teams and individual staff, setting task priorities and resolving resource, technical or conflictingRecommend process improvements where appropriate.
s Monitor incoming work requests, incident tickets and status checks by customers via a ticketing system. Ensure that calls/requests are being taken/logged, assigned, checked out and resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
s Acknowledges and resolves technical problems dealing with software, networking, Server and Internet connectivity, E.T.C in a timely and courteous manner. Problem resolutions made available as a "lessons learned" resource to other technology team members
s Create documentation for smooth operations and motivating Team to create documentation as well
s Should have strong knowledge on majority of technologies mentioned below
1. Back up and restore.
2. Firewall.
3. Exchange online and on premises.
4. AD, ADFS & Group policies.
5. Access points configurations and monitoring.
6. Vmware.
7. SCCM.
