Position Overview
Autodesk is currently looking for an Windows Operations Engineer to support Enterprise Delivery Center in Bangalore, India. Please note this role requires working in rotating shifts with occasional weekend work


The Windows Operations Engineer will administer, maintain and support Autodesk s Windows server and VMware infrastructure and related technologies. This includes all Windows Server Operating Systems, VMware, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, LogicMonitor, TrendMicro, CrowdStrike and related technologies


Responsibilities

  • To provide all technical support to internal Autodesk customers and staff
  • To coordinate, collaborate and escalate incidents within established timelines
  • Administration of all hosted Windows operating system flavors from Windows 2003 to Windows 2016
  • Maintain and support multi - site windows environment along with hardware and software configuration
  • Management of server migration when needed by business
  • Maintaining internal CMDB for Windows servers
  • Execution of maintenance items out of hours (Patching/Upgrades/Updates)
  • Out Of Hours server reboots & checks
  • Provide User and access management (password, user management, folder access, group policies, drive mapping, mail box management, delegation of rights)
  • Vendor Management (hardware and Software vendors - HP ,Dell, Microsoft, VMware, Tintri and others)
  • CrowdStrike/TrendMicro Antivirus management and updates
  • On premises monitoring infrastructure using LogicMonitor
  • Responsible for Change management in Compute team
  • Mitigation for penetration testing reported vulnerabilities
  • Preparing reports as per the requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years Windows Server administration experience
  • Experience with Vmware and related technologies such as VSphere, Site Recovery Manager and vROPs
  • Hands on experience with DNS, DHCP, SCCM
  • Scripting Knowledge (AD) - PowerShell/Python
  • Automation/DevOps mindset
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP
