Job Title - Quality Assurance (QA) Lead

Location - Ahmedabad

Job Description

We are hiring QA Lead in full time positions reporting to our delivery head and actively working with client delivery teams in Canada and India. You love playing with the latest and greatest frameworks that are there and take pride in quality and agility. You are a smart tester more than an idealist is. Required Skillset:

• At least 5 years of QA experience with 2+ years of lead experience.
• Can manage a team of 5+ QAs, create test plans, assign and review work and able to lead testing efforts for multiple projects
• Lead a QA team to test responsive web, mobile and cloud applications, and data integration projects.
• Strong comprehension and communication skills (written and verbal) to understand business requirements.
• Client management skills, and experience in reporting QA stats and performance metrics.
• Preparing test strategy documents, test plans and test cases.
• Strong experience on Web portals, Responsive websites, HTML/CSS/UI testing, Mobile applications in addition to functional testing.
• Experience with Agile SCRUM project delivery.
• Experience with front-end web testing tools and browser add-ons for multi browser testing.
• Experience with bug/defect/issue tracking process.
• Strong experience of middleware testing - APIs, Web services.
• Strong experience of data testing, backend DB testing, and should be able to write advanced SQL.
• Experience in UI, Functional, Database, Regression, Load and Performance Testing.

Nice to Have:

• Expertise in White box testing, Automated Testing tools (Selenium, JMeter etc.)and scripting would be a plus.
• Functional expertise in domains such as CRM, CMS, and BI etc. is preferred.
• QA certifications e.g. ISTQB and technical education in relevant field is preferred.
