Job Description

DESCRIPTION

• Supports pre-sales and post-sales customer service functions byassisting customers, company sales and service representatives withquestions on equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders anddelivery schedules.
• May schedule field service repair calls.
• Handlesrequests for additional company materials.
• Maintains records of returns,schedule changes, product enhancements or changes and product pricing,and resolves return credit problems.

JOB COMPLEXITY

• Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.
• Understands implications of work and makes recommendations forsolutions.

SUPERVISION

• Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.
• May be informalteam leader.

EXPERIENCE

• Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL

• As a skilled specialist, completes tasks in resourceful and effectiveways.

SCOPE

• Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and determinesthe process by which to meet goals.

INTERACTION

• Frequently interacts with peers and customers to exchange or present complex or technical information.
