Job Description

Associate Lead Engineer

The person will be responsible to maintain Monotype s type rendering products to make those available to customers for different platforms across the industry.

What we re looking for:

• 4-8 years of development experience on developing platform independent C, C++ based solutions.

• Moderate knowledge in Python scripting.

• Strong command on Data Structures and algorithms.

• Experience in integrating solutions for different platforms like Windows/Linux/MAC/ARM .

• Basic knowledge of mobile app development Android/IOS

• Experienced in test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery.

• Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience in collaborating with geographically distributed teams.

• Experience in working in agile development environment.

• Experience with Visual Studio, GCC, Makefile, JIRA, Git and GitHub based automation.

• Knowledge or experience with 2D/3D rendering pipelines such as OpenGL or Metal is a plus.

• Willingness to be involved in full software lifecycle including design, documentation, coding standards, code reviews, test automation, bug detection and code delivery.
