Skills Required
Must have:
2 - 8 years' experience
C/C++ software development experience on embedded, infotainment platforms or consumer electronic platforms.
Experience in system side programming and Object oriented programming concepts.
Experience working with RTOS
Any embedded linux porting experience on ARM boards.
Boot loader(u-boot) porting and customization experience, with kernel loading/customization exposure.
Usage of cross compiling tool chain, cmake, auto-scripts, other build systems[yocto/linaro.etc].
Genuine curiosity for Smart Home/Automation applications
Willingness to learn Node.js in a shorter period of time, and develop hub firmware using node.js
Write unit and integration test for firmware
Nice to have:
Exposure to Zwave, BLE protocols.
Experience with IoT hardware platforms.(Arduino, Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone)
Experience in Node.js programming concepts & implementation [in Event Emitter, Promises, async/await, Unit testing experience]
Good hand holding experience on Node JS Test Framework[Mocha, Chai, Sinon].
Node.js Addons for C/C++ plugin
Experience with device management/embedded hardware wifi, bluetooth and/or IOT integration experience a plus
Strong analytical and debugging skill
Responsibilities:
Will be given the opportunity to develop the IoT product in a fast developing nodeJS environment.
You will be responsible for developing middleware components development in IoT gateway.
You will also work with the cross-functional team to integrate feature/ defect issues as an end product in customer hands.
Establishing the protocol for zwave / BLE components with different hardware boards.
