Job Description
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Cloud Application Developer who forms a team tailored for a specific mission.
You contribute to fast realization of prototypes as well as effective product development, by applying deep engineering knowledge of the most relevant coding platforms and standards, in combination with proven Agile collaboration methods and test-driven development.
You ll be part of the Signify R&D Bangalore and its responsibilities are architecture, design, development and test automation, so Innovation and passion for technology must be in your DNA.
What you ll do
As Senior Cloud Service & Application Developer in the Cloud Applications group
You will actively contribute and steer all aspects of agile software development: planning, tracking, architecture, development, configuration management, testing, integration, validation, and documentation
You will be able to estimate total required team effort, are closely involved in policy preparation and the program of the group
You will lead improvement initiatives with regard to technological improvements, and perform future-oriented studies with other specialists
You are recognized by peers because of your technical competences
You will be the contact point for customers, identify leads and understand market demand and customer requirements in the longer term
What you ll need
- Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Science, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in product development as Cloud/Web Backend Developer
- An interest and preferably working experience in agile development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe )
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud architecture and all aspects of it: microservices, APIs, MQ, OAuth, NoSQL, distributed services, performance, REST, JSON,
- Able to coach others in technical areas
- An interest and working experience with Java Spring, Identity Management, Device Management
- Set of strong technical skills in Java, JavaScript. Knowledge in other relevant programming JVM languages (Groovy, Kotlin, Scala ) is advantage
- Test Driven Development is your way of developing high quality software.
- knowledge of software development patterns
- experience with relational databases and data modelling
- experience deploying to a cloud-based hosting environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- experience with enterprise integration patterns
- experience in developing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment Pipeline solutions
