Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Use DevOps best practices to develop, deliver, and maintain applications and services at high velocity on AWS
- Design and implement an infrastructure on AWS that supports DevOps development projects
- Deploy various environments with AWS CloudFormation
- Host secure, highly scalable, and private Git repositories with AWS Code Commit
- Integrate Git repositories into CI/CD pipelines
- Automate build, test, and packaging code with AWS Code Build
- Securely store and leverage Docker images and integrate them into your CI/CD pipelines
- Build CI/CD pipelines to deploy applications on Amazon EC2, serverless applications, and container-based applications
- Implement common deployment strategies such as all at once, rolling, and blue/green
- Integrate testing and security into CI/CD pipelines
- Manage SIEM solutions, and Endpoint Protection.
- Continuously monitor to verify the health, integrity, and availability of all cloud applications
- Participate in cross functional projects initiatives
- Resolve queries/issues and provide Application/functional support to peers juniors
- Education: Graduate Bachelor s degree (any stream)
Skills Experience:
- Has good understanding of AWS Cloud security infra and app perspective. Hands-on experience is must.
- Experience in AWS CDK, SDK, using code pipelines like code build and code commit
- Experience in redshift, S3, Glue, RDS Database, SQS, SNS, Sage Maker Notepad, Resource tagging, IAM Roles and policies understanding
- Cloud formation for the automations.
- Deploying microservice applications using- EKS and Fargate
- Serverless application using Lambda functions and API gateway
- Monitoring configuration -CloudWatch, Cloud Trail, SNS, SQS
- Hands on EC2 and aws config, OpsWorks (config management)
- Understanding of application, server, compliance and network security.
- Has proven DevOps engineering skills
- Ability to write scripts using bash, python and/or ruby.
- Solid troubleshooting skills
- Good to have
o Experiencing hosting applications in Linux.
o Experience with container strategies and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes)
o Experience with issue/problem tracking systems (e.g., Jira)
o Experience with distributed source code repositories (e.g., Git)
o Experienced with CI/CD.
o Experience with aws services VPC, ALB, Autoscaling, cloud watch, trail, Encryption
o Solid understanding of Microservices and APIs.
o Advance knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
o AWS Cloud Engineering Professional / Associate certification(s) a plus
