What success looks like in this role:

Cloud Operations Engineer

Need: CloudForte is Unisys umbrella Cloud Services offering to help customers design, migrate, operate and optimize their digital transformation using cloud. You will be part Cloud Operations team at Unisys and responsible for building and supporting highly scalable and secure Cloud solutions industry using latest, cutting-edge tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting up monitoring, troubleshooting infrastructure components hosted in various cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud & on- premise data centers
Provide second level contact to customers and respond on reported issues within the agreed SLA s and act as a shift lead for team handling first level of support
Work closely with the DevOps team or the development team in identifying and rectifying issues in a timely manner in various environments
Automation of various processes using configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
Augment the CloudOps team to perform break/ fix tasks on customer s cloud infrastructure after due diligence and discussion with the requisite stakeholders
Become the primary point of contact for customers and participate in regular cadence
Own knowledge sharing sessions to improve the underlying knowledge base of the team, helping them expand their breadth of expertise
Ownership of client onboarding journey, helping them understand the various processes involved and setup of the various systems involved

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Key Qualifications A minimum 0-8 years of professional experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors
Experience working in 24x7 Support Environments
Knowledge of ticketing tools like JIRA, ServiceNow etc.
Knowledge of AWS, Azure and/or Google public clouds
Cloud related certifications at a Fundamental level. Professional will be plus
