This role is focused towards working Data Governance
Individual will need to develop understanding of metadata management, data sourcing/research and understand other enterprise data management priorities and ensure compliance.
Individual will be required to ensure adherence to Enterprise EDM standards, liaison across finance data management and also represent finance data management in various forums
Individual will act as a relationship manager and work with APAC technology team and various stakeholders on a daily basis. Individual will need to have a good understanding of technology and also have good understanding of data landscape in financial accounting reporting function within a financial services organization
Responsibilities
Individual will be required to assist in performing following responsibilities
- Help in Data governance and issue resolution activities - Understanding standards and working with business partners to ensure compliance, Relationship management, incident management
- Attend meetings to represent finance domain Data Issue Management
- Liaison with APAC technology team and be able to understand the technology and data landscape
- Assist in wider process level activities such as data sourcing, analysis and other activities as needed
- Documentation Provide Inputs on the Project documents etc.
- Continually identify process improvement opportunities
Requirements
- Education - Good Finance background (Commerce graduate/Finance Post Graduates preferred)
- Certifications If Any
- Experience Range - 9-12 yrs. (for M) of total relevant experience
Mandatory skills -
- Understanding of systems and technology landscape in financial accounting reporting function
- Project management/PMO/Business analyst experience
- Ability to perform data analysis , correlate metrics and seek clarifications in case of issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Ability to make and deliver presentations to various stakeholder
Desired skills -
- SQL
- PMP Certification
- Experience in JIRA
- Understanding of banking industry
- Understanding of data governance and underlying processes
- Good understanding and Knowledge of Data Lineage tools for example Collibra
