Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and innovative pricing models for deal specific opportunities to provide competitive advantage based on client demands
- Work with Solution Architects to build up costing from staffing inputs
- Understand client budgets and financial statements to determine financial constraints and risks
- Determine proper revenue recognition based on US GAAP and UST Global Accounting policies
- Deal shaping and developing commercial constructs based on type of deal and services (ie. value based, transaction based, gain/pain share, etc)
- Providing support to senior pricing analysts and/or other Finance personnel
- Work with account teams to determine client's current portfolio, financial history and existing commercial terms
- Create competitive and profitable rate cards across domains and verticals
- Develop and monitor metrics to measure the effectiveness of pricing policy, implement necessary changes, and support business processes & pricing decision making capabilities
- Partner and engage with internal teams to value and price SaaS solutions
- Develop lifecycle pricing management capabilities to support solution roadmap & maximize financial return via pricing optimization
- Create license pricing approaches prices including perpetual, term, maintenance, and SaaS
- Help to develop and deploy comprehensive software product pricing strategy, tools, and support for assigned Business Units lead the development and streamlining of new and existing pricing approaches, models, channels and structures for new products, acquisitions and existing businesses
- Attend formal pricing checkpoints with all internal stakeholders on a periodic basis to ensure pricing remains current and market relevant, adjust for new features, products, investment, competition, and market feedback
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years experience in Finance or Accounting role within an IT Services or Consulting company
- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel
- Superior strategic, analytical, problem solving, cross-functional influence and organizational skills
- Passion for understanding pricing strategies and execution methodologies
- Ability to coordinate with various constituents, including senior management, by communicating concepts clearly and credibly to multiple audiences
