The primary role is to identify new business opportunities and to identify new markets, new partnerships, new ways to reach existing markets, or service offerings to better meet the needs of existing markets.
- Proactively map and drive tactical and timely approaches to potential partners, identifying and targeting companies and businesses who offer potential for long term, high value strategic partnerships. Provide technical leadership to consolidate existing offerings & systems through in-detail definitions & scope, relevant documentation, increasing team awareness & developing annual and 3 year offering development plans.
- Mapping skill & knowledge gaps within teams, taking customer feedback, building in-detail go to market strategies.
- Developing presentations & other communications, leading standardization in proposal and estimation processes & tools, developing and designing training framework & material, providing support to team business processes standardization & improvements
- Should collaborate & impart relevant trainings to various departments within department.
- Find out new areas, department can add its offering portfolio. Help department to develop new clients and value-added services & to work on innovative ways to serve regular systems like CCTV, IBMS, Fire Alarm, Fire suppression and other IBMS systems.
- Ensure adherence to organizational processes internally & externally. Internal - regular reviews, team management, team targets, appraisals and assessments. External - maintain uniformity in all quotes, Payment terms, commercial terms and conditions, gross margins, Delivery schedule commitments, Risk evaluations and approvals etc
Desired candidate profile
- BE in Electronic/electrical Or Diploma (Technical Field)
- 8 plus years of experience as a business development manager, Sales or a relevant role
- Should be open for Travelling.
- Good communication skills
- Computer skills- Good at Excel and Presentation
- Knowledge of system - CCTV, Fire Alarm System, Access Control system, Public Address System (LV/IBMS) is must.
