Job Description - Internal Auditor for Retail Store and Warehouse

Over all Inventory/ financial audits at the store and Warehouse.

  • o Need min 1 year inventory/ Internal audit Experience with good communication & computer knowledge

Mandatory & routine activity conducted at store level which Records of Sales, petty & Float Cash, compliance of orderly punching the tickets before starting the services to client post to the consultation.

Activity covers two key domains i.e.

PART I - Cash check sales, Float and petty cash

PART II - Bill/Ticket check/ Manual Bills & DSR file

Objectives

  1. Reducing revenue loss and pilferage
  2. Detection of fraudulent practices
  3. Wastage Control & cost reduction
  4. Suggest and introduce new systems for controlling and reducing the revenue leakages
  5. Compliance of statutory requirements, company policies, guidelines & regulations

Key Areas

  1. Cash Audit stores Sales, Petty & Float cash
  2. Card/Banking Reconciliation - Credit sale v/s Settlement & Bank voucher
  3. DSR - DSR File/Sales/Manual/Petty Cash etc.
  4. Prepaid & CLP Sales - check BSC, CLP Sales details
  5. KIT Related - Direct Con. product kit, ampules, cartridge
  6. Wastage details - wastage picture of the store
  7. GRN/Transfers - warehouse Transfers
  8. FIFO - check on efficiency of inventory control
  9. Shelf life - check on efficiency of indenting and quality
  10. Retail Audit - check book stock & Physical stock level
  11. SOPs follow-up - check on various SOPs
  12. Manual bills - Manual bills v/s update and DSR updates
  13. Discount coupons/gift vouchers - check on authenticity of discount given in Bills
  14. Registers - COGS, Salon focus and other registers
  15. Statutory requirements - check on availability of legal licenses
  16. Marketing activities - check on activities approved by marketing
  17. Cleanliness/maintenance - check on cleanliness & assets functionality
  18. Capex/Assets - Machinery equipment , Furniture Etc.
