Job Description
We are looking for highly motivated, and passionate, wireless physical layer experts for the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced signal processing algorithms for our next generation base-station products.
What you'll do:
- Develop highly optimized transceiver signal processing flows for the GSM
- Create compliance/conformance test suite to ensure successful
- T ransceiver performance against the standards requirements.
- Design and development of Layer 1 Control or DSP firmware design/development.
- Follow the technical standards to drive the feature road map, and to keep updated the product teams
- Document the design, implementation and test processes, and
- P resent the technical results to various internal and external customers in a timely fashion
What you must have:
- Proficient on GSM Layer -1, 3GPP / IEEE Specifications
- Strong Signal Processing fundamentals
- Good understanding on Matlab Simulations,
- Strong understanding on Processors like TI / FSL Multi-Core DSP, Mindspeed-Ceva DSP, FPGA, Inter Processor Communications
- Strong Programming skills in C, Memory Optimizations, Multi-Core
- Programming, Assemble language debugging (plus)
- Subject matter expertise in digital communications
- Good understanding of the compliance and conformance test frameworks for GSM
- 8 years of experience in the design, simulation and implementation of advanced wireless standards such as GSM
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a global multi site environment.
Education:
- BE/MS/PhD with a major in communication theory and systems and/or signal processing
