Title : Tech Lead
Technology : SharePoint/ .Net
Salary : 14 - 16 L INR/ Annum
Location : Kolkata
Experience : 7 to 10 years
Purpose of Role:
- Receive business and IT requirements from customer and create system specification documents for approval
- Develop and maintain customized and plug-in portal applications for the customer Portal
- Conduct unit and system testing to ensure requirements are met
- Work with business users and customer IT to ensure applications and enhancements meet the needs of the business
- Recommend ways to increase the portal's business value
- Support the SharePoint environment to ensure effective operations and performance
- Liaise with Mazda Australia if necessary, for Portal standards and common development
- Be flexible in work timings to match global time zones
Responsibilities
- Creates specification documents from business requirements
- Designs and develops web systems/portal application solutions.
- Enhances existing applications and portal components to achieve complete business solution
- Performs unit and system testing to ensure high quality business solution
- Implements final solution
- Follows approval process for all deliverables
- Liaises and supports users with system testing
- Investigates system difficulties and recommends/provides solutions to users
- Collaborates with Mazda Australia on projects, applications, enhancements, and development standards when necessary
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Bachelor Degree in IT or related discipline, or equivalent
- Knowledge in the .NET/SharePoint technology and web-based design principles
- Knowledge of the Azure environment, Active Directory, and AD Single Sign-on
- Knowledge of the SQL Server database, SQL language, table creation & maintenance, and database management & administration
- Knowledge of the .Net framework and SharePoint development
- Knowledge of script languages (Java/Jscript and VBscript)
- Minimum of three years' experience with the above knowledge areas (Azure may be less).
- Strong communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into system requirements.
- A good understanding of IT design patterns
