Job Description
Compliance Trainer
Position Overview:
eClinical Works' Compliance Trainer is responsible for implementing and conducting eClinical Works' compliance training programs as part of eClinical Works' comprehensive compliance program at eClinical Works. The Compliance Trainer will be responsible for preparing, administering and tracking all compliance training programs at eClinical Works as required by eClinical Works' Corporate Integrity Agreement with the Office of Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Compliance Officer in developing, implementing and maintaining an effective and comprehensive compliance program by preparing and administering eClinical Works' compliance training programs.
Prepare compliance training programs on the topics of eClinical Works' obligations under its Corporate Integrity Agreement, eClinical Works' policies, procedures and other requirements applicable to the quality assurance of eClinical Works' software, the policies and procedures established pursuant to eClinical Works' Corporate Integrity Agreement, quality management of electronic health record software, the personal obligations of eClinical Works' personnel in developing, testing, implementing and supporting eClinical Works' software to ensure it meets software standards and practices and certification program requirements, software defects, usability problems, deficiencies and other potential software issues, reporting requirements and legal sanctions for violations of Federal health care program requirements, obligations to existing and future customers, lessons learned from software quality issues and the anti-Kickback statute and regulations and guidance related to the Anti-Kickback Statute.
Develop an annual training program to facilitate administration of eClinical Works' compliance training programs.
Conduct live training sessions of each training program.
Prepare training materials, outlines and summaries of the compliance training programs to facilitate a productive learning experience for all eClinical Works personnel.
Develop compliance training program quizzes to ensure the training materials and content are understood by eClinical Works personnel.
Track progress toward completion of compliance training programs for all eClinicalWorks personnel with a view toward ensuring 100% completion rates for all training programs.
Maintain statistics and documentation for review and tracking purposes.
Prepare and present reports to the Compliance Officer and work with the Compliance Officer and senior management at eClinical Works to summarize effectiveness of the compliance training programs.
Assist the Compliance Department with daily compliance program responsibilities.
Ensures writing assignments meet standards of order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
Requires some travel annually to India offices
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Excellent written and oral presentation skills
Demonstrated regulatory writing skills.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Compliance department experience strongly preferred
Certification in Compliance or Auditing strongly preferred
