Job Description
Overall responsibility of Electric Arc Furnace Operation.
Managing activities of SMS right from Maintenance, Production planning, Finlization of Chemistry specifications, Scheduling, Process Monitoring, Manpower Planning, Shutdown Planning.
Cost Saving by managing inventory, Optimizing main cost drivers like power, electrode, refractory, spares & other consumables.
Safety Maintenance and housekeeping of shop floor and surrounding area.
Preparation & Execution of day-to-day production schedule and production planning.
Inter and Intra department Coordination for Achieving Production and Quality targets.
Hand on Experience of Commissioning and Stabilizing different oxy fuel burner/lances in EAF viz; Cojet, KT lances, VLB, lumar lance and Manipulators, RMHS, Charging trolleys for IF etc.
Looking after Break down, Preventive Maintenance of arc furnace & gradation.
Experience in static and rotating equipment like pumps, gear, compressor ,chain conveyor, belt conveyors, screw conveyors, ID fans, bearing's etc.
Preventive maintenance of critical equipment as per the schedule to ensure smooth running and avoid breakdown for uninterrupted production and attending the breakdown quickly.
Maintenance of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical equipment rotary equipment & centralized lubrication system and auxiliaries of EAF furnace.
Resource utilization (man, machine & material)to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
Trouble shooting of equipment for productivity related issues; conducting failure investigation analysis to identify & take the corrective measures so as to reduce equipment failure & maximize the plant availability.
Documenting maintenance history of all equipments and effectively utilizing the records as reference to evolve maintenance solution.
SAP PM module use for daily report generations & PM order.
Planning of spare equipment assembly.
Required Candidate profile
CANDIDATES WHO HAVE EXPERIENCE OF OPERATION & MAINTENANCE IN ELECTRIC ARC FURNACE (EAF), EOT, CONVEYOR & GRADATION LINES ONLY APPLY FOR THIS POST.
Required Candidate profile
Candidate with hands on experience in Electric Arc Furnaceoperation (Production) with more than14 years of experience only need to apply and must be ready to relocate at Porbandar (Gujarat).
