Job Description
We are looking for aData Engineerto join our busy Gurgaon office. You will be responsible for developing modern Data Warehouse solutions using Azure Stack (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data bricks) and to execute our mission to drive revenue through a technology enabled strategy.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working on Azure Cloud services (IaaS, PaaS) with the ability to design information systems to deliver the strategy on the Azure Platform. You'll identify high-level business needs and lead the creation of detailed functional specs and other documentation, such as requirement traceability matrix, work-flow diagrams, use-cases etc.
To secure an interview, we will want to see the following skills and experience on your CV:
- Knowledge and experience of one or many of SQL, SAS/R, VB, Qlikview etc. ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET, OOPs, LINQ & Entity Framework, AJAX, Java Script, Web Services, WCF, SQL Server2008/14/16, HTML, XML
- Experience in Azure services like AAS Cubes, Azure Site Recovery, Network Watcher, Log Analytics, Application Insights
- Knowledge of enterprise design patterns and cloud design patterns
- Familiarity with the main data manipulation languages and the principles of database design is mandatory along with knowledge of various database management systems (SQL/Oracle etc.)
- Analysis and development of prototyping, developing, testing and implementing data related applications
- Strong written, oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail as well as excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills and able to manage many tasks concurrently, delivering to deadline with the skill to work to tight deadlines under pressure
