Responsible for day to day operations in Finance, Accounts and Taxation.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Month end book closure and reporting, accounts payables and receivables.
- Review and provide month end accruals, amortization, depreciation etc.
- Deep dive analysis of entire overhead expenses of the company.
- Preparation of various MIS schedule and commentary.
- Preparation of various schedules and reports during Statutory Audits.
- Solving the queries of Internal and External Auditors, thereby helping them to conclude the audit.
- Ensuring timely payment of various taxes and statutory payments.
- Ensuring timely filing of returns under different laws (Income Tax, GST etc).
Personal Attributes Required:
Must Have
- Qualified CA with 0-3 years of progressive accounting experience in start-up / manufacturing/ E-commerce / Big 4.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and auditing principles, practices & procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal guidance.
- Hands on experience in transactional areas - AP/AR/Credit control.
- Knowledge of ERP Systems (NAV preferable).
- Knowledge of filing various GST returns & ability to close GST GL on a monthly basis.
- Ability to deal with Direct and Indirect Tax Compliance requirement.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
