Job Title
Senior Strategic Program Manager "OverviewAs part of the focus towards data integrity and data led decision making, the Strategic Program Management (SPM) team has revised the organization to support this activity through a newly design governance program role. This specific role will drive activities towards reviewal and analysis of program data to propose improvements, corrections etc, promoting a data led decision making culture within the SPM team as well as the Payment Gateway Services group. Defining leading and lagging indicators that will help tracking and predicting the progress of the programs and the various initiatives within.
The role will communicate with both team level as well as senior leadership stakeholders making presentations about new business cases, ideas, process and governance improvements.
Responsibilities
Plan and manage a group of related technology projects or activities in a coordinated way from inception through successful delivery
Strong understanding of program financials, data generated across lifecycle of a project and ability to drive insights and proactive action that can make positive impact on the outcome
Work with the governance lead to continuously review program governance structure and processes and provide inputs to improve them progressively
Should be able to communicate across teams and senior leadership with equal ease
Excellent presentation skills and should be able to make presentations keeping audience in mind. Should be able to present to senior stakeholders and drive meaningful discussions
Work directly with external to the organization or external to Mastercard technology providers and customers
Work with limited guidance, seeking guidance as needed because the product and delivery strategy is defined.
Deep understanding of the business and technical requirements for the solutions being built
Understand the needs of the engineers and technical operations teams who have to build, maintain, and operate the system for the life of the system
Recognize complex designs and propose simplified solutions by working with software design engineers, principals and TPMs
Help customers and the engineering teams make trade-off decisions by considering all of the data including business goals, technical platform strategy, customer experience and maintainability. You identify blocking issues and manage their resolution.
Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
