Job Description
We are hiring Linux System Engineer for our Openstack R&D group
Exp level: 9 to 15 yrs.

In this role you will:
- Responsible for implementation of complex architectural design of hardware, software and/or networking systems
- Delivers brown bags/tech talks to internal groups Take full ownership of product life cycle.
- Implement automation to streamline workflow to minimize manual efforts.
- Ensures completeness and compatibility of the technical infrastructure to support system performance
- Be responsible for the development and implementation of hardware, software, and networking for monitoring systems.
- Analyze systems and market trends to determine business requirements.
- Ensure completeness and compatibility of the technical infrastructure to support system performance.
- Be responsible for keeping informed of the latest, relevant technologies.
- Follow and execute Rackspace change management by evaluating changes using RLA methods and develop MOPs for changes.
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis sessions.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience with LINUX Engineering
- Experienced in implementation of complex architectural design of hardware, software and/or networking systems.
- Experience in a programming language like Python
- Experience as a consumer/user of a public cloud programmatically via their AP
- Experience with a config management tool: Puppet, Salt, Terraform, Chef, Ansible
- Experience working with, architecting, deploying, scaling, and troubleshooting open source software
