Job Description
Job profile: Head - R & D Lucent CleanEnergy is the next generation renewable energy company providing high quality materials to solar energy industry, using state of the art technology and research. Summary Experience: 3- 5 years Location: Changodar, Ahmedabad Compensation: Discussed during interview Education: B.Tech/ B.E (Plastic, Chemical) and M.Tech (Plastic, Chemical) Industry Type: Specialty films Role: Research & Development manager Functional Area: New product grades and formulations development, quality control, formulation enhancement, materials selection and testing, final product testing Candidate profile Min. 3 years experience with degree in chemical/ plastic processing (films extrusion) and preferably M.Tech in the same. Candidate should have R &D and QC experience of Plastic resin based products. Candidate should have sound knowledge about various plastic resins, their properties, additives (silane, UV, peroxides) and formulations. He/ she should be able to handle various international testing equipments. Roles and responsibilities Responsible for complete quality control and testing of final product as well as incoming raw materials Responsible for managing the state of the art lab and its equipments Responsible for development of new product grades, new formulations, enhancement of existing formulations. Understand and develop product grades based on customer s feedback and requirements Responsible for recommending new materials, additives which improve the quality of the product and can reduce the overall costs of materials Maintaining the QMS/ documents as per standards set by the companyJob Classification
