Job Description
1.Review daily production sheet and formula (s) paying attention to special instructions.
Review MSDS sheets for ingredients being used and adhere to PPE protection that is required for processes that will be performed.
Set up pellet mill and cooler following formula instructions.
A. Follow all lockout/tag-out procedures prior to set up of die and knife-blade performing visual check of knife blades.
B. Attach the appropriate die.
C. Set and adjust crumble rolls accordingly when applicable.
D. Check bagging bins.
Run feed while constantly monitoring product for problems with quality.
Complete production paperwork accurately for feed being run.
Follow all safety procedures and policies with special attention to lock-out/tag-out procedures.
Perform cleaning of conditioner and cooler following pre-established procedures to prevent cross contamination and for HACCP requirements.
Will assist with bagging/receiving (to the extent of also being cross-trained in those areas for proficiency ISO requirements.
