Job Description
Fortune Infosys, a US-based IT company with an offshore development center in Ahmedabad, India looking for Network Security Support Engineers. Primary responsibility is to perform monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting for its managed service clients. The Engineer will function as part of a rotating team to provide 24x7x365 coverage of the Radiant Logic virtual directory software that is embedded within the clients' broader Identity & Access Management infrastructure.
Excellent English communication skills are must require in order to support offshore clients in the managed service.
Radiant Logic software training will be provided to qualified candidates.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline, or commensurate professional experience. CISSP is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of LDAP directories such as Active Directory, CA Directory, Oracle, Directory Server.
- Working knowledge of DB directories such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle-db.
- Prior Radiant Logic FID experience is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Identity Management concepts and solutions is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with SAML and its associated concepts (identity provider, service provider, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of common network services and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, HTTPS, and VPN.
- Prior technical support delivery experience is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills are required.
- Self-direction and independent problem-solving skills are a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment where collaboration is encouraged and valued.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and accurately track/communicate status as requested.
Summary of Job Responsibilities:
- Pursue a deep technical understanding of the Radiant Logic FID & ICS products.
- Monitor clients' Radiant Logic FID deployments by leveraging common industry tools such as Splunk.
- Conduct all day-to-day tasks with a mind toward meeting required Service Level Agreements (SLA's) agreed to with the client.
- Identity and resolve minor issues before they become major ones.
- Manage trouble tickets and communicate status to project manager and appropriate client.
- Conduct seamless transition of open trouble tickets to teammates during shift changes.
- Collaborate with client-side application teams as needed.
- Stay current on Radiant Logic FID & ICS versions as they are released.
- Contribute to a knowledge-sharing system so that issue resolution strategies can be applied to other tickets and client environments.
- Due to the nature of the business, this position requires working in a rotating shift that covers 24x7x365.
