Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Automation of Build, Deployment and Release Management
• Working with platforms like Windows and Linux, Unix
• Work collaboratively with Product Owner, Product Line Manager (PLM) and Verification.
• Complete assigned development tasks including unit testing and documenting work
• Translate functional requirements into development tasks and provide project manager accurate time estimates for completion
• Troubleshooting and debugging of build failures.
• Keep yourself abreast with latest technology trends

• Good Interpersonal Skills - Critical
• Knowledge of concepts in terms of DWDM, SONET/SDH, OTN and knowledge of telecom object models - Desired
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies - Desired
• Prior knowledge of EMS/NMS will be an asset

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS

• Must be able to travel to United States or Canada for extended periods of time (up to 2 months) with advance notice Independent self-starter and committed to delivering on aggressive deadlines.
• Comfortable in a team environment with ability to lead

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• B.Tech in any stream from premiere institutes / colleges or equivalent experience or MS/M.Tech. with relevant specialization
• 4+ years of total experience
