Job Description
- Graduate (preferably legal graduate with MBA).
- 8 to 15 years experience in telecom Contract / Commercial Management / Pre-Sales Commercial.
General Purpose
- Contract Manager will be responsible for supporting and conducting due diligence on compliance risk assessments in the applicable domain and area following the Nokia Ethics and Compliance guidelines.
- The resource when needed is also expected to handle tasks which may include contracts drafting, rating of Agreements, back to back alignment of contracts based on the inputs shared by internal stakeholders etc.
Job Description Main Responsibility Area requirements: -
- Supporting as a key resource in EC global s various compliance programs
- Support compliance due diligence and approvals activities (e.g., third party screening, gifts/hospitality approvals; sponsorships donations approvals) as needed by Ethics and Compliance.
- Understanding of policies, processes and tools and to effectively communicate to the appropriate employees and or employee groups if applicable.
- Support promote a robust open reporting culture, supporting different EC programs being implemented from time to time.
- Identify compliance matters that require follow-up or investigation, and, as appropriate, conduct or support investigations (in conjunction with the Ethics Compliance Investigations team), or otherwise refer issues to the appropriate internal EC stakeholders.
- Monitor the installation and effectiveness of compliance controls and programs within the domain of GSS support including using Compliance Control Frameworks reviews, risk assessment analysis, review of internal activities as guided by the key stakeholders viz., Ethics and Compliance
- Drive a culture of integrity, compliance accountability in the organization through to all employees within the allotted work.
- Interprets internal client/ stakeholder needs, assessing the full requirements; identifies solutions to nonstandard tasks/queries. Is aware of internal/external business issues best practice in own discipline; applies to own role.
- Understanding analysis of TCs of RFP evaluation of commercial/ contractual risk from legal commercial perspectives.
- Preparation of appropriate Commercial/ Contractual responses to customers/partners/stakeholders requirements
- Support advise CT/ Market team on Contractual/ Commercial/ Compliance on aspects/ critical issues of business.
- Draft/coordinate TCs in line with Company standards, Customer/Partner Frame Contracts and GSS strategy.
- Ability to work with using excellent knowledge of corporate policies and procedures, coupled with ability to identify required improvement to established policies.
- Ability to understand seamlessly weave legal and commercial concepts, Incoterms, applicable international laws.
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to pre-empt the requirement matrix of the stakeholders requirements and deliver with consistency in terms of quality and timeliness.
Additional Requirements:
- Commercial and legal understanding to achieve contractual transparency and accountability for risks as well as driving the Contract Management Process to protect the Company s interests.
- Ability to seamlessly excel in a multi-cultural environment across time zones.
- Compliance and commercial working experiences will be an add-on.
- Willingness to learn and be sensitive to the dynamic nature of the business and the stakeholder/ customer expectations.
- Strong to excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and as part of a team.
- Ability to take initiatives to drive for excellence, handle pressure and tight timelines
- Mandatory: English at Business Communication (written and verbal) level
- Degree in Business/Law/Technology with certifications/ experience in legal compliance and contract management
