Description

Develop SAP solutions in adherence to policies, guidelines and procedures of Global IS in line with requirements.
Participate in global SAP projects and contributes with knowledge in that field, in order to secure that projects can be completed as expected and within the timeframe.
Designs, debugs, documents and tests a range of SAP products available in Linde Group.
Participate & available in Team Call Outs and provide Out of office Hours support, including weekend & public holidays, as required, for the service.
Required to handle adaptations of complex software within the subject area.

Support Teams within & outside the Centre
Surge Partners/ Third Party Vendors
Project Managers
Process Teams i.e. Service Quality Management, Service Provider Management and others

Required Critical behaviours :

Ability to plan own workload and work in teams effectively.
Self-motivated, with the ability to learn and work in a meticulous and organized manner
Good communication skills required to effectively coordinate with other IS functions and with peers across locations working across different time zones
Required to communicate with stake-holders, using reasoning, to achieve successful outcome for the assigned responsibility, specifically SAP Basis area.
Confirmed analytical skills, together with the ability to think "outside the box". The solution to the problem is based mainly upon previous experience but also on the analysis of factual and qualitative information.
Impacts the business by quality of own work and through the ability to deliver high quality and

successful solutions within own area of expertise.
Ownership and information sharing is must.
Required key skills (functional/technical)

2-5 years of SAP Basis skills in the following: R/3, CRM, BI, SCM, EP, SRM, PI, Solution Manager and other NetWeaver based system ;
Exposure of architectural solution design of SAP new solutions;
Ability to learn and absorb knowledge quickly;
Good understanding of customer needs and demands through working in a service delivery environment and supporting business critical services;
Operating System skills in Unix, AIX, HP UX, Linux
Experience of working in both small and large teams is desirable;
Experience in global working is desirable;
Good communication and coordination skills

DBA Skills (Preferable not Mandatory)

Oracle Installation on UNIX / Windows.
Monitoring and tuning of database and application SQL
Provision and capacity planning for adequate database storage.
Sizing and capacity planning
Security and integrity Administration.
Perform updates, patch installation and audits
SAP DB Upgrade and migration.
Structural change review and implementation.
Administration of Enterprise Management, and recovery catalog databases
Hands on experience in UNIX scripting for Database and Perl.
Experience in Backup and Recovery.
Experience in disaster recovery
Knowledge of SQLNET, INET, ODBC, TCP/IP
