Job Description
What is your role going to be
- Will analyze data, profile data, validate patterns, develop hypothesis on data and prove out hypothesis.
- Will manage queries to databases and construct prototype analysis and use cases reports to aid in the design and enable agile development
- Will provide data sourcing, mapping, and complex formulation to derive critical company KPI s
- Will conceptualize data sources and compile logical diagrams documenting the database content to business users
- Will drive the process to document and maintain the data dictionary for the company detailing both Attribute and Measure definitions of the company
- Will investigate and schedule requirements and avoid scope creep.
- Help Build Machine Learning Predictive Models
What might also help
- 4+ years of work experience with very large data warehousing environment
- 3+ years of experience data modeling concepts
- 3+ years of Java or Python development experience
- 2+ years experience in Big Data stack environments (GCP, Hadoop, Spark, Hive)
- Experience with Kafka, Flume and GCP tool stack such as BigQuery and BigTable are preferred.
- Experience in writing Spark ETL jobs
- Experience using software version control tools (Git, Jenkins, Apache Subversion)
- Demonstrated strength in architecting data warehouse solutions and integrating technical components
- Good analytical skills with excellent knowledge of SQL.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
What Are We Looking for in This Role
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / Management Information Systems or related field
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Data Ingestion/ETL tools like OGG, Syncsort, SQData, Attunity
- Java or python Development Experience is Preferred
- Experience with Kafka, data pipeline, apache beam, pub sub technology, batch and streaming data ingestion are preferred.
- Experience building on Google GCP storage using BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Cloud Bigtable, Cloud Datastore etc.
- GCP certifications or other related professional technical certifications will be plus point
- Experience with cloud or on-premise middleware and other enterprise integration technologies
