Job Description

Primary Role
Site Engineers from a Civil or Electrical background who have a strong level of experience working on projects within the Rail Industry preferably on Metro Projects.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the troubleshooting & maintenance of various Signalling equipments such as Point Machines (S700K), Remote fed audio frequency Track Circuit (FTGS), Signals UPS system installed at various interlocking Stations.
Assist the team members during corrective maintenance and failure rectification.
Worked as a person in charge (PIC) in maintenance of Signalling systems.
Took independent responsibility of an interlocking station.
Experience working with Senior Project Engineers & Project Managers on costing, scoping and planning for the project.
Handling of Maintenance Team (including Electronics Technician, Fitters, Semi-skilled, and unskilled) for Corrective maintenance, Preventive Maintenance and Special Development Task including system up-gradation.
Provide technical support to mainline/depot staff for failures and major preventive maintenance.
Provide technical trainings to new recruited staff.
Supervise the Installation of Signaling Gears (AFTC, Point Machine, Signals, Loops, FEP, S&D and ESP) by contractor during T&C.
Worked as a part of the Installation, Testing & Commissioning team and was responsible for the Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Trackside & Train borne System.
Responsible for the troubleshooting & maintenance of installed CBI system used to run trains with complete responsibilities.
Knowledge/Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, plus 3 years of experience.
Must have extensive experience in Automatic Metro Signalling system including Installation, Testing & Commissioning (T&C), Operation & Maintenance (O&M) in different type of railway signalling block system
Experience working on Freight Corridor and Metro Projects
Travel maybe required up to 25% of the time
Working knowledge of MS Office
