Job Description

Handles, investigates, and completes day-to-day cost accounting tasks, working within Finance, but as a business partner with Inventory Management, Purchasing, Receiving/Warehouse, company vendors, etc.
Applies costs to inventory, monitors the processes that affect the inventory costs, and reconciles the daily accuracy of the perpetual inventory reporting to the general ledger.
Processes vendor payable invoices and debit memos into the ERP system verifying propriety of GL coding, lot costing and profit centre allocation.
Processes customer payments and credit memos verifying propriety of GL coding, bank deposit and customer cash receipt in the ERP system.
Various general ledger accounting activities in accordance with GAAP.
Payroll Related: manages electronic timekeeping system, works with managers for approved timecards for each payroll cycle, processes payroll with vendor.
Periodically aids with office and facilities management tasks.
Ad hoc tasks and analysis as required by the business.
