Job Description

Reporting to the Product development Manager you will be responsible for :

• Research on the latest fashion trends, market, and fashion forecast to conceptualize and develop collections according to the brand USP.
  
• Designing and developing a range for Womens western wear according to the themes each season.
  
• Product development for the top global womens apparel brands
  
• Design& develop multiple products based on the themes decided and as per the buyers demands.
  
• Interact with all areas (marketing, merchandising & manufacturing) to ensure design integrity throughout all stages
  
• Product review according to brief/tech-pack before sending the sample to the buyer/client.
  
• Include measurements, materials, colors, trim, hardware, grading, labels, tags, etc
  
• Sampling- Making sure sampling deadlines are met.
  
• Managing the entire Product handover process.
  
• R&D and fabric sourcing.
  
• Vendor visit as and when required.
  
• Vendor communication- day to day.
  
• Buyer communication- day to day.
  
• Weekly WIP report (Internal).
  
• WIP/Send date report (External)- day to day
  
• Merchandise management of garments and accessories.
  
• Working closely with different functions to ensure the highest level of efficiency
  

Candidate Profile : You will be a professional with experience in product development and sampling handling various categories of fashion along with a customer-facing rol The client is looking for someone with excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to lead a team of professionals
Qualifications: Fashion Designing specialist from NIFT or similar Design School
