Sql Administration/sql Dba @ Feasible Technologies

Job Description

*Maintain the integrity of all Database related software and Standard Builds by applying latest service patches and configuration settings as recommended by the manufacturer and as required by customer and vulnerability, testing all new patches and verify thoroughly about all the patches.
*Work with Onsite DBA team and convert Stand alone DBs and Failover DBs.
*Must have good work experience on SQL server (2016)
* Work with Onsite DBA team and convert SQL DB to 2016 as business required.
*Resolve highly complex issues and implements projects at an advanced technical level regards DBA initiative.
*Configure and Setup monitor for SQL DBs through SCOM tools.
*Develops architecture, standards, and procedures for DBA implementation and considers their integration with the balance of the IT infrastructure and support teams.
*Act as a liaison between internal and external user communities. Collaborates with application support staff to design and provision services, and troubleshoot problems.
*Conducts training for, and directs the efforts of, end-users, outside vendors and less experienced staff.
*Provides after-hours and weekend support as needed.
*Provides user account set up on servers and identifies possible improvements (security gaps, patch levels, capacity thresholds) to optimize performance.
*Performs SQL scriptwriting and/or programming as needed.
*Work with Enterprise Storage team / Control-M team and configure/design the solution for DB Backup.
*Identify service issues with respect to technical inputs by carrying out performance trending
*Analyze and resolve technical queries of the customers.
*Understand product technology and prepare technical documentation
*Identify areas for automation
*Attend conference calls with technical escalation points in US/India
*Meet defined operational metrics
*Ensuring 100% SLA and Process Compliance,
*Carry out FMEA on technical aspects of DBA management and recommend solutions
* SQL experience/ certification is a plus
