Job Description
You should have around 5 to 7 years of solid and relevant hands-on work experience, of which at least 2 years in design, development and maintenance of Android applications catering to a wide variety of devices, preferably in the tech team of a high energy start up.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In a nutshell you will be doing the following:
Provide inputs to the product team in product conceptualisation and work closely with the product and UI/UX design teams in defining the product
Translate the business logic and wireframes to high quality application and database design
Create the application in a modular way, by applying the Agile concept
Identify tools and plug-ins that can enhance user experience and/or save time and cost
Build, enhance and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
Implement measures to safeguard users data
Work with the product team, UI/UX designers and software testers to conduct UAT, identity bottlenecks and fix bugs
Post launch, work closely with the product team to iterate user driven changes at high velocity
Recruit team members and / or agencies and manage them effectively
Work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a cross functional and multi-cultural team environment
SKILL AND EXPERIENCE
We believe you need to have skills, high degree of proficiency and hands-on experience in the following areas:
General mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies with track record of developing and publishing original Android app(s)
Android SDK, different versions of Android, and dealing with different screen s
RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Designing applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch
Integration of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes, accelerometers and third party libraries and APIs
Open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Cloud message APIs and push notifications
Code versioning tools, such as Git
Continuous integration, Deployment & Delivery
