Sr.Software Engineer - Cloud Infra - Shifastar Technologies Sr.Software Engineer Cloud Infra The primary aim of the Member (Cloud Infra) is to ensure to provide a single set of interfaces that a cloud consumer can use to provision and manage their cloud infrastructure in multiple clouds. Key Responsibilities: Cloud infrastructure health Cloud instance health Third party application updates/patches are installed.

 Adhere to ISO/Company Policies

Monitor events/alert notifications with respect to Cloud Infrastructure.

Record /Update up ISO related documents.

Ensuring SLA is met for issues reported for Cloud Infrastructure.

DevOps activities like Cloud Formation and Automation on AWS.

Configuring and managing AWS monitoring (Infrastructure and Application) using ICINGA/Zabbix/Nagios XI and Splunk.

Ensuring over 99.7% of availability for AWS infrastructure and Applications.

C. Essential Skills:

• Should have knowledge of configuring and using Oracle, WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere MQ.
• Should have experience in working on Windows and Unix (Linux, AIX, etc.) operation system.
• Should have knowledge of using some scripting language like Jason, Python.
• Should have sound knowledge in configuring TCP/IP network.
• Knowledge of the AWS components like EC2, RDS, EBS, S3, Simple DB, SQS, SNS, SES, CloudWatch, CloudFront, VPC, load balancing, auto scaling, Transit Gateway, AWS Shield, AWS Guard Duty, is mandatory.
• Cloud Security including expertise on SIEM tools.
• Good hands on understanding of Amazon web services.
• Good understanding of log aggregation and log monitoring with Splunk
• Container platform (Docker, OpenShift)
• Hands on in automation scripting (Python) (for redundant and routine work)
• Hands on understanding in software deployment (GIT, Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline)
• Linux system administration
• System problem solving & troubleshooting abilities
• Worked on designing, analysing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Good understanding of micro services-based architecture and support requirements for micro services-based application
