Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES: Senior Software Engineer
Should have good knowledge in the JDA SCPO. Should have hands on experience with installing and configuring the product and understand the interactions within various modules.
Should have implementation experience on JDA SCPO with at least one or two full cycle implementation experience.
It is preferable if the candidate has previous experience of working in cloud and on-prem technologies
Should have experience in reviewing the integration design and suggest best practices.
Should work as a liaison between Consulting, Support and Cloud Services to ensure smooth and efficient implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements during on-boarding of new customers or during upgrades or patch updates
It is mandatory to have good knowledge of Oracle RBDMS concepts and administration. Knowledge of RAC (Real Application Cluster) is an added advantage.
Candidate should be able to review an existing application set up and perform an assessment for suitability to upgrade.
Understands how JDA solutions can be configured to better facilitate client business processes.
Should have strong analytical skills and problem solving skills. Knowledge of any defect management tool will be an added advantage.
Ensures quantity and quality content in the Knowledge base. Should be able to drive a KT and Transition plan effectively.
It will be an added advantage to have a candidate with knowledge of incident, problem and change management process.
Responsible for incident resolution for specific set of customers within the specified POD / Product / Project
Adheres to priority based management based on impact urgency
Drive Service Improvement Plans and ensuring the Incident Management process is performed as designed

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or Masters degree in Computer Applications or other equivalent technical field.
Communication
Associate has good English language Skills both verbal and written
Associate has expert customer service/phones skills - Being able to walk associates through advanced tasks over the phone and dealing with difficult customers
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide variety of internal and external personnel with emphasis on follow-through and reporting.
Must have excellent organization and technical documentation skills.
Personality Fit:
Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to make modifications to the systems with little or no interruption of service.
Ability to organize projects and tasks according to priorities.
A person in this position should be a good project leader and have the ability to communicate effectively project plans and status of projects.
Must be self-motivated and enjoy a sense of pride in their accomplishments.
Work Experience
10 years work experience
3 Must have experience on JDA SCPO - added advantage if worked with pricing modules like SP, MDO and PROMO.
3 Proficient in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting
4 Mainframe - COBOL, ACU-COBOL, Job Control Language (JCL), CICS, REXX, Eztrieve, IDMS, DB2, VSAM, File-Aid, Abend-Aid, CA-7, IMS
Performance tuning for PL/SQL, Long running Job and SRE processes.
Experience with large, complex data sets
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data processing and storage
Write complex queries that can scale to meet requirements
Verification/validation that data solutions and/or system performance meets requirement
Proficiency in Windows/Unix commands and troubleshooting skills
Strong Retail Domain Knowledge is added advantage
