Job Description Head of Product

To help us continue to grow our offerings, were in search of an experienced product manager to lead our multi-disciplinary development team. As an ideal candidate, you will have a keen eye for gaps in consumer product offerings and the innovative mindset to fill them. Youre a highly skilled market analyst with a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of product production from conception through release.
Objectives of this Role
- Define the long-term strategy and vision for the product, leveraging broad customer research, customer experience and new technologies to deliver features to our customers
- Drive requirement definition, customer experience design, product roadmap, and prioritization. Define and own the business metrics and OKRs for our products
- Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments
- Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation
- Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure theyre successful achieved
- Deep Dive into Data and define clear success matrix
- Lead the UI/UX team to ensure a consistent, seamless and aesthetically pleasing experience for our consumers across our suite of products
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams
- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
- Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in product design or engineering
- Strong experience in a dynamic product management role
- Previous experience delivering finely-tuned product marketing strategies
- Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
- 7+ years of product management experience with at least 4+ years of experience owning the product suite of an organization/ business unit.
- 2+ years of significant people management experience including both direct and indirect reports. Must have recruited and built high performing teams in the past. Experience communicating with technical and non- technical stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge and experience in BFSI domain is preferred .
- Proven experience working as a product developer in a non-managerial role
- Demonstrable knowledge in SEM and online advertising
