Job Description
Develop the Solution Architecture which defines the program solution for the project teams to implement, describing the end state architecture across the business, data, application and technology dimensions
Identify technologies/tools, do POCs and feasibility study for respective projects
Set up a sufficient testing infrastructure (this includes staging environments, coordination of tests, and clarification of which automated and/or manual tests)
Determine if new Reference Architectures are needed to benefit current and up-coming Projects
Partner with Reference Architecture Owner/Representative to develop or enhance the existing one
Develop innovative approaches on performance optimization and automation
Conduct root cause analysis on complex and critical incidents and recommend a corrective action plan
Participate in Design reviews, Code reviews, Test Case reviews and Application readiness reviews for new releases provide inputs for Go/No Go decision
Required Qualifications:
Substantial hands-on technology experience, web/software development background
Strong knowledge of DevOps design patterns, processes and best practices, Jenkins builds, XL release/XL deploy tools
Sound DevOps architecture knowledge related to Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions and Platform Automation - Jenkins, CodeHub,
Architect solution knowledge of Cloud - OSE Migration, JBoss migration
UI Technologies - Angular JS, Node JS, Scala etc. Strong understanding of UI Frameworks
Proficient in using Java/J2EE; ability to developing and implement web Application, frameworks - Spring/Struts, ORM frameworks - Hibernate, Design Patterns and Solution Architecture, restful Web services, JQuery
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to Content Management System (AEM)
Knowledge of scripting languages: Perl, Python, Chef, Puppet, Docker, Powershell etc.
Configuration level skills in some of the tools: XL deploy, XL Release, Jenkins, GIT, Sonar, Fortify, Selenium, IBM udeploy, uRelease, CA Nolio, Rundeck, GIT, Sonar, Artifactory, Automic etc.,
