Job Position: Customer Service Executive (Pricing & Customer Service)
Location: Navi Mumbai
Criteria:
Graduates with Min 3 yrs. of Exp in Pricing for Import & Export and Customer Service in Shipping /International Logistics for European region
Job Purpose:
To manage Air and Sea Pricing for Import & Export efficiently & Customer Service thereby increasing productivity and profit for the company.
Roles and Responsibilities: -
- Procurement of competitive freight rates from the carriers for Air and Sea shipments.
- Strong rapport with Overseas Network agents for competitive pricing.
- Co-ordination with the overseas agent for shipments in-case of nominations.
- Providing pricing support to the sales team.
- Ensure that the shipments move smoothly & all the queries / RFQ's are been attended to.
- Retaining the existing clients & deep selling to increase business share.
- Ability to plan ways to meet set targets & schedule the daily activities.
- Proactively identify problems and implement effective solutions.
- Coordinating closely with the operations / customs staff and the clients, if required.
- Will be responsible for pricing for Import & Export.
- Shall be responsible for close coordination with carriers & provide market intelligence to customers along with overseas offices.
- Candidate will be responsible for negotiation & filing rate contract with shipping lines, support sales team by providing best price to existing & new customers.
- Additional responsibilities include maintaining and updating customer records in ERP system.
- Should have good contacts with MLOS.
