Software Test Automation Engineer - Gurgaon @ Jacobs

As a member of the corporate IT Quality Assurance team, our newest Test Automation Engineer will be passionate about delivering high-quality solutions to achieve business objectives. Candidate will take a lead role in ensuring the quality of the software deliverables by providing automated testing solutions in support of cutting-edge applications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders and development team to create automated tests for all aspects of a software application using Python, Selenium, Cucumber or Junit, TestNG or equivalent technologies

• Participate in Performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner and JProfiler

• Produce detailed metrics to track and manage test automation progress

• Design and plan test tasks to assuring quality in all products delivered to clients

• Drive resolution of complex defects across multiple technology tiers and with geographically dispersed teams

• Participate in the execution of test cases as required for each project and question the performance of the software without assistance

• Proficient or Expertise in core Java, JavaScript, Python, Selenium, Ruby, SQL, API and NoSQL. (3+ years)

• Have hands on experience in test automation Open Source tools.

• Strong communication (oral and written), team orientation and ethics

• Ability to take direction and function independently; assists others in their work

• Independent time management skills

• Experience with Agile/SCRUM/DevOps Methodologies

• Experience testing different web service methodologies REST, SOAP, XML, JSON

• Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and related tools (Jenkins/Hudson/Maven)

Preferred:

• Skillful with the following: Python, Selenium, jMeter, jUnit, jQuery, javascript, HTML, CSS, CI/CD with Azure DevOps, Hudson/Jenkins tools, SQL, C#, ASP.NET, Java

• Direct involvement of Microsoft .NET, Oracle EBS, Salesforce and ServiceNow environments

• Previous experience as an Automation Engineer or Software Developer

• Recent technical knowledge of eCommerce implementations, performance and security challenges

• Application Security Testing experience (AppSpider)

• Experience with mobile automation testing iOS and Android platforms

Education:

• Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience required
