for IT and Network Administrators: As an experienced IT and network administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of IT equipment, network storage, servers, peripherals, and networks. You will be involved in managing and supporting the organizations computer systems, Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), network segments, intranets and other data communication systems. Your responsibilities will involve administering the organization's servers, workstations and mobile devices, as well as ensuring that the email and data storage networks are working effectively. You will also be responsible for ensuring that employees' workstations are working efficiently and the same stay connected to the central computer network.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify the network hardware and software to meet the requirements of the organisation.
Update and troubleshoot network issues.
Ensure all IT equipment are functioning properly.
Install and maintain network security at various levels.
Configure and manage networks to maximize efficiency, security and upscaling.
Manage users to a network. Assign and modify network security permissions.
Conduct basic training for the team on usage of hardware and software resources available.
Maintain a database of defects in IT resources and resolve them in a time bound manner.
Conduct frequent checks to ensure the integrity of the network, storage, and other IT equipment
Configure and Manage IPSEC Site-to-Site VPN, Remote-access VPN, and SSL VPN.
Proactively monitor and perform health checks on the status of the network infrastructure
regularly.
Skills Required:
Networking domain knowledge, including TCP/IP protocols.
Extensive hand-on experience with network enterprise-class firewalls, routers, and switches
Must be able to articulate problems and their solutions to non-IT professionals.
Oversee the connections of various types of IT equipment and must ensure proper functioning.
Hands on Experience of 2-5 years Troubleshooting/Diagnosing hardware related issues on
Laptops/Desktops/All in Ones.
Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues including part replacement.
CCNA, CCNP and any network related certifications will be an added advantage.
In-depth understanding of firewall configuration
