Conceptualize and implement a Lifestyle Brands sourcing plan Develop and implement a long term, sustainable sourcing strategy that delivers significant competitive advantage to Lifestyle Brands by supporting growth as well as profitability goals Develop and implement standardized sourcing policies and processes based on international best practices to deliver operational excellence in sourcing Develop and implement a just in time sourcing model for Lifestyle Brands that helps it to keep inventory turns high Identify key risks that Lifestyle Brands faces in the area of sourcing and develop detailed mitigation plans for each identified risk Guide the team in ensuring that the quality standards at the lowest cost are met and consistency maintained while achieving the OTIF rates Transform existing sourcing function into a sustainable competitive advantage for Lifestyle Brands Create sustainable ability to deliver products consistently on time as per market requirements Create sustainable ability to quickly respond to market trends thereby creating competitive advantage to Lifestyle Brands in the market place Develop a strategy to continuously lower the transaction cost for sourcing Develop top class IT systems to provide exceptional end-to-end visibility of sourcing activities across the organization and key external stake holders Excel in Vendor development and management Create and manage sustainable and strategic relationships with key vendors and develop negotiation strategies for the same Forecast the future developments in fabrics and trims and keep abreast with new product, service and technology developments Assess the current sourcing facilities and maintain dedicated manufacturing base creation Negotiate and finalize long-term major purchase contracts Drive product innovation, quality improvements and product cost optimization across the organization in conjunction with PDQA Create world class sourcing capabilities Evaluate vendor capabilities and capacities and develop vendor base to cater to Lifestyle Brandss needs Continuously look at enhancing the capability of the sourcing team members so as to cater to the future needs of the organization Continuously look for ways to reduce total cost of ownership of finished goods and raw materials Monitoring cost by setting the pricing strategy along with the commercial team and ensuring proper implementation of the same Work closely with suppliers on process improvements resulting in cost advantage Monitor inventory and ensure no deviations from budget Create a talented and committed sourcing team that provides a competitive advantage to Lifestyle Brands Develop a trained, committed and passionate sourcing team which provides best-in-class expertise in sourcing across all product-market segments that Lifestyle Brands operates in Monitor and review performance. Train people on their functional competencies Liaison with HR Department for behavioral development inputs. Develop organization structure as per requirement. Ensure high quality staffing.
