Job Description Leading the installation; configuration; and upgrading of PostgreSQL database server software and related products. Designing and implementing database solutions and strategies to ensure high availability; performance; and security. Performing regular backups; recovery; and restoration procedures for PostgreSQL databases. Monitoring and optimizing database performance through performance tuning and query optimization. Managing database access and security; including user permissions; roles; and privileges. Implementing and maintaining database replication; clustering; and failover solutions. Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues in a timely manner. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment activities. Mentoring and providing guidance to junior DBAs and other team members. Developing and maintaining documentation related to database configurations; processes; and procedures.
