What Will You Do As a Lead Network Administrator at NPST, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining a secure network that supports the company's vision and business goals. This is a key position for ensuring that a reliable and secure network is available to all our stakeholders as we continue to grow as a fintech organization. Job Responsibilities Network Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable network architectures, focusing on MPLS and VPN technologies. Ensure continuous availability, performance monitoring, and optimization of network resources. VPN Solutions Implement and manage VPN solutions to ensure secure and efficient remote access for employees and external partners. Troubleshoot and resolve VPN connectivity issues, optimizing performance and security. MPLS Deployment Design, configure, and manage MPLS networks to enhance data transfer efficiency and network reliability. Troubleshooting and setup of MPLS connectivity. Collaborate with service providers to optimize MPLS connections and ensure adherence to service level agreements. Network Management Monitor and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.), ensuring high availability and performance. Utilize monitoring tools to track network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize configurations for improved performance. Security Management Implement and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive financial data. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and implement necessary measures to mitigate risks. Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems and outages. Respond to network incidents with timely solutions. Configuration And Maintenance Configure network devices, manage firmware updates, and maintain accurate network documentation and inventory. Collaboration Work with IT teams to integrate network solutions with applications and services. Provide support for network-related projects and initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide effective IT solutions. Compliance Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., PCI DSS) related to network security and data protection. Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting fintech. User Support Provide technical support to end-users regarding network access and connectivity. Conduct training on network policies and security awareness. Disaster Recovery And Business Continuity Develop and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Conduct regular testing and drills to ensure the effectiveness of these plans. Documentation And Reporting Maintain comprehensive documentation of network and system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Generate regular reports on network and system performance, security, and compliance. What Are We Looking For Experienced in network management, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) and tools (Wireshark, etc.). Understanding of network security principles and tools (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS). Familiarity with encryption standards and secure communication protocols. Strong analytical abilities to diagnose and resolve network issues effectively. Experience in managing network-related projects and timelines. Ability to work collaboratively within teams. A willingness to stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends. Entrepreneurial skills, ability to observe, innovate and own your work. Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills. Influencing skills and the ability to create positive working relationships with team members at all levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education Qualification - Graduate Experience 7+ years Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or CISSP are beneficial.
