We're a dynamic startup driven by innovation, and were looking for a Python Web Scraping & AI Engineer to contribute to building cutting-edge web scraping infrastructure and building AI algorithms to enhance search capabilities. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Python Web Scraping & AI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web scraping solutions, extracting data from multiple e-commerce platforms, and building AI-driven features to enhance our search algorithms. Key Responsibilities: Web Scraping Development: - Design, build, and maintain scalable web scraping solutions for e-commerce websites using Python. - Extract structured data (product details, pricing, availability, reviews, etc.) from a wide variety of websites with dynamic content. - Handle CAPTCHA challenges, rotating proxies, and anti-scraping techniques to ensure data integrity and availability. - Continuously improve and refactor scraping pipelines for efficiency and scalability. AI Integration & Development: - Work with the latest AI technologies to integrate machine learning models and algorithms into the search engine for recommendation, ranking, and personalization. - Apply NLP and deep learning techniques to enhance product classification, search relevance, and contextual understanding. - Develop and implement data pipelines to feed AI models with clean, structured data from scraping tasks. Database Management & Optimization: - Design and manage the data storage systems (Vector/NoSQL) to store large-scale web-scraped data. - Optimize data pipelines for fast querying and retrieval by the search engine. Collaboration & Reporting: - Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to integrate scraped data and AI models into the user-facing product. - Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices. - Provide regular updates on project milestones and deliverables. --- Required Qualifications: - Proficiency in Python and related libraries like BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, or similar tools. - Experience in web scraping and data extraction from complex, dynamic websites (e.g., e-commerce sites with anti-scraping mechanisms). - Familiarity with proxy management, CAPTCHA handling, and web automation techniques. - Strong knowledge of AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and integrating models into production environments. - Experience with NLP techniques and their application to search optimization. - Familiarity with Vector/NoSQL databases for managing large datasets (e.g., Pinecone, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch). - Strong understanding of REST APIs and experience with building scalable APIs for data retrieval. - Proficiency in version control systems(Git, GitHub) Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience working with e-commerce platforms and understanding the nuances of product data extraction. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and distributed computing. - Exposure to AI in search technologies like recommendation engines, personalized search, and product ranking.
