Senior Backend Node.js Developer (Remote) Job @ BigStep Technologies

Job Description

We seek a highly skilled Node.js Backend Developer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS. You will work on building and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend systems to power our applications. Roles and Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance backend systems using Node.js. Design and manage databases using PostgreSQL, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Implemented and managed AWS services for hosting, storage, and other cloud functionalities. Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to deliver seamless user experiences. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Troubleshoot, debug and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability. Ensure secure development practices to protect sensitive data. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in backend development. Required qualifications: 5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design, optimization, and advanced querying. Proven experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, and others. Understanding of RESTful API design and development. Proficiency in version control systems like Git. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.,
