Job Description

The Role: Senior Software Quality Engineer is responsible for working with SW QA and SW development teams. Test the features being developed and make sure of a great user experience. In this role, you will: Working on the Gaming domain projects Make sure to deliver a great user experience with Quality Creating Test plans and cases Prioritizing and executing tests Preparing detailed test reports Tracking the bugs and investigating the root cause Perform manual QA including functional testing, regression testing, system testing, and compatibility testing Working in the lab to test the devices, integrations, drivers, protocols, etc., Performing nonfunctional tests like compatibility, Localization and usability. Suggesting automatable software test coverage Actively engage with the developer and QA teams Key Qualifications: For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team: 5 to 7 years of experience in desktop software testing Experience in the Gaming Domain is required Experience in different testing methodologies and testing tools Expertise in Bluetooth, WiFi, or other wireless & networking protocols. Experience with basic lab equipment (BT analyzers, Voltmeters, Oscilloscopes, etc.,) Excellent in writing quality bugs with all necessary information that helps for quicker debugging Familiarity with the software development process Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions Strong Communication skills Ability to work collaboratively Good time management and organizational skills In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include: Relevant testing work experience with PC/Device hardware Exposure to Games and peripherals testing and passion towards gaming Experience with Python is a bonus Education: BE / ME in Computer Science / Computer Application or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
