Job Description

Primary Skill-Control-M

Secondary Skill-Basic Knowledge on UNIX and Windows OS, Networking and Databases,UNIX Shell/Perl scripting

The Control-M Administrator is expected to maintain and run Control-M environment that supports the automated batch scheduling system for the customer. This includes installing, upgrading, configuring, maintaining and controlling Control M Infrastructure.

Analyse and resolve Control-M system production problems and execute Control-M utilities as required

Control-M job failures troubleshooting

Control-M Administration, Installation of Control-M Server/EM/agents/CM Modules v8 and v9.x

Perform Control-M Server/Enterprise Manager (EM) and Control-M database maintenance

Implement application-related functionality and associated Control Modules

Implement Control-M cluster failover

Knowledge of Migration/Upgrade of Control-M environment

Experience in Control-M APIs and Workload Change Manager

Create custom/dynamic reports using Control-M/EM Reporting Facility

Should be well versed with Scripts / Tools maintenance and Upgrade

Manage resource definitions and Implement Load Balancing

Documentation skills

Basic Knowledge on UNIX and Windows OS, Networking and Databases

Experienced in UNIX Shell/Perl scripting

Should be well versed with recovery planning and implementation

Basic ITIL Knowledge for process

Team Management

Requirements

At least 8+ yrs. of experience.

Control-M server administration.

Installation and maintenance of Control-M Components.

Migration of Control-M environment

Shell Scripting

Scripts / Tools maintenance and Upgrade

UNIX & Windows Administration

Basic Knowledge of DB (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and Network

ITIL Knowledge

Good Communication Skills
