Lead Quality Engineer Job in Cognizant

Job Description

Job Summary Responsibilities Lead the quality assurance efforts for various projects ensuring high standards are met. Oversee the development and execution of test plans and test cases. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Rest API. Utilize Jira for tracking and managing defects and project progress. Act as a Scrum Master facilitating agile ceremonies and ensuring adherence to agile principles. Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and issues. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance. Monitor and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in quality engineering and apply them to improve processes. Qualifications Possess a strong understanding of Jenkins Java Rest API Jira Scrum Master and Maven. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills. Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model. Display a proactive and detail-oriented approach to quality assurance. Certifications Required Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or ISTQB Certified Tester,
