Job Description

Project Handled / Responsible for Number of People / Extent of Signature Authority Must have worked in at least 1-2 4/5-star hotel/ resort projects and has successfully completed the design development phase. Professional qualifications like LEED and understanding on Hotel space planning, byelaws and regulations would be preferred. Ability to work on multiple projects. Accountabilities Pre- acquisition phase Understanding detailed design and functioning of Architecture/ Interior and MEP systems of Hotels/ Resorts and applicable bylaws. Assist Design Head to review the designs in coordination with Business development team by providing site due diligence, test fits, conversion plans whether the same are in line with the internal design guidelines. Prepare presentations to all stakeholders. To coordinate and carry out geotechnical and contour surveys at site. Assist in onboarding consultants" appointment through RFP process Pre-Construction Design Phase Prepare design brief after inputs from all stakeholders. Implement value engineering workshops to achieve cost optimizations in design and product. Review design standards, manage design process; co-ordinate with all design and specialist consultants for obtaining design deliverables for new development projects. Assist Design Head in presenting design brief presentations to all internal stake holders for design sign off. Assist in preparing submission plans for various authorities and maintain follow up for timely approvals. Attending fortnightly coordination meetings with external consultants to ensure design coordination and optimization. Pre-construction schedule & process management in line with project schedule Assist commercial function by reviewing technical specifications as required,
